"I cannot speak well enough to be unintelligible"
~Catherine Morland, Northanger Abbey~ Chpt. 16
I often feel like Catherine Morland stole the words right out of my mouth! As I am not an Austen heroine, I am often at a loss for witty words. :P
Let me introduce myself: my online name is Adonnenniel (my actual name in J.R.R. Tolkein's Elvish), but I answer to Addie, (a nickname given to me by Rose:)), since Adonnenniel is quite a mouthful! I have been homeschooled since 1st grade, and I am now finishing my junior year of highschool. I have 5 siblings-two younger brothers (who provide hours upon hours of entertainment!), my older sister, who is my own personal Jane :), and my dear little sisters who closely resemble Kitty and Lydia.
I have not yet found Mr. Darcy.
:)
I love writing, but I often struggle to find the time in which to do it. I have been reading a lot of Austen recently, and I'm finding so many wonderful bits of humor and wisdom that escaped me on the first reading. It's really astounding how insightful and clever her writing is-and yet so natural. Her characters are so real-and it's amazing how you can find their likenesses in actual people you meet. (I have a lot of fun doing that!)
Anyhow, I am pleased as punch to be contributing to Ella's blog! I am sure I will enjoy being a part of it, and I hope you all enjoy reading it!
In His Name,
Addie :)
